The people who work at the Keren have made much mesiras nefesh to make Rabbi Nachman's seforim available, at low cost, to the world.
Reb Yisroel Odesser himself was completely moser nefesh to aquire a large sum of money with which to establish the Keren. He spent not an agora (or penny) on himself. Whatever he needed was provided for in the way of hachnachas orchim. Even medical emergencies were covered through charitable bequests. All the tzeddakah money that he collected in his last ten years went to establish this Keren, that would print books of Rebbe Nachman at the lowest possible price.
Its effect on the other publishers has been inspiring, as virtually all Breslov publishers have matched the Keren's low prices. The dissemination of Breslov books in Eretz Yisroel and the world is constantly gaining momentum. The Keren could very much use help getting publicity in Chutz Le'aretz. Reb Yisroel told us time and again that the entire ge'ula of Am Yisroel depends on the dissemination of Rebbe Nachman's books to every Jewish household. He meant that literally. Rabbi Yisroel knew that the very survival of Am Yisroel depends on the books of Rebbe Nahcman. He would laugh and say that "Moshiach will explain Lekutay Moharan to the world!"
